2019 Blind Presale
After only two years, Fortress Festival has, among other things, been called a "Can't Miss Music Festival" by Harper's Bazaar, an "arbiter of taste" by Texas Monthly, a "defiant outpost for Black music" by the Daily Dot, a "model for what urban festivals can achieve" by Fort Worth Weekly, "one of the best experiences to be had in the North Texas market" by Central Track and "like nothing else in the DFW area" by Free Press Houston.
This praise follows two straight years of world-class lineups that have included the likes of Run the Jewels, Chromeo, Courtney Barnett, Father John Misty, Wolf Parade, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Tune-Yards, RZA, De La Soul, Slowdive, Flying Lotus, Peter Hook and the Light, Rapsody, Shabazz Palaces, The Voidz, and many more.
The third edition of the festival will take place April 27 & 28, 2019. Presented in partnership with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the festival provides attendees not only with world-class music but also with access to world-class art within Fort Worth's iconic Cultural District.

There will be a wide variety of alternatives for transportation to and from festival grounds from all over Fort Worth and D/FW. Parking will be limited so we strongly encourage taking the TRE from Dallas or other points in D/FW (TRE does not operate on Sundays) or taking public transportation within Fort Worth. Bus route 2 travels up to every 15 minutes both days of the festival and stops in the Cultural District. All train and bus schedules can be found at www.FWTA.org. You may also take advantage of the awesome bike share program Fort Worth offers or use a rideshare app such as Lyft. As we get closer to the event we will provide more detailed instructions on how to best take advantage of these awesome alternatives for getting there.
You can park in any of our paid lots for $15/car/car or $25 for the weekend. Parking passes can be purchased online before the festival or at the festival box office. Paid lots will be located at Farrington Field. Click here (same link as last year) to see the location of Farrington Field parking. For Will Rogers parking locations, please reference lots 1,8, & 9 on this map.
